Iām a huge advocate for women taking charge of their personal finances and think itās so important to learn how to diversify your income streams ā whether thatās investing in shares (I love discussing this topic with women!), the property market or even how to manage a budget. And most importantly, maintaining a level of financial independence/ literacy and not relying on someone else (i.e. a partner) to take charge.
I run a Mortgage Brokerage here in Perth alongside my mum Lucy (Founder) and Terry (Primary mortgage broker). I am the Business Development manager and love speaking to people about their finances and how we can help them into home ownership. Having the opportunity for our business to help women here in Perth understand the world of home loans, and how to get into the property market is something Iām very passionate about. Iād love our business to be the Ambassadors in Perth for LFC - essentially having boots on the ground for when women from LFC want to speak to a team who know home loans like the back of their hand.

In the early stages of my career, I worked at various companies specialising in digital marketing, however two years ago, I had a ālight bulbā moment where it felt like the right time to step into this new role to grow our mortgage broking business (with the primary goal of helping as many people as possible). And I havenāt looked back since! Giving people insight into the world of mortgages in a simple, easy-to-digest way is key, and I believe our role extends far beyond simply āgetting people a home loanā - we are also here to educate them along the way, so they can feel empowered to make informed financial decisions.
