About the Session

Whether you’re tying the knot or even just living with your partner for a while ....they could be entitled to some of your assets if there was ever a break-up. If you’re bringing a lot to the table (property, inheritance, cash) you want to make sure you’re protected.

We get that it can be a difficult conversation to have “I want to spend the rest of my life with you...but first can you errr…. sign my prenup)!” But it’s the smart thing to do. Plus we have some strategies for making that conversation less #awks.

Even if you’re in a de-facto relationship it’s worth having the conversation about signing a Binding Financial Agreement - (or Prenups as our American friends call them).

In this session Carolina is here to share with us some of the common mistakes she sees women making when preparing for marriage and will cover what we should be doing to protect our financials, property, and children, and approach big decisions with preparation and confidence.

In this session, we will cover:
✅Why should you care about family law when getting married?
✅Family law tips to keep in mind when tying the knot.
✅What happens if the knot unties?
